Guizio Opens Its First West Coast Store

It’s hard to imagine a city better suited to Danielle Guizio than Los Angeles. The New York-based designer has built a brand beloved by celebrities and influencers, making a West Hollywood storefront feel less like an expansion and more like an inevitability. Until now, though, Guizio only had stores in New York City (SoHo) and, more recently, Aventura, Florida. Her first West Coast location, at 8723 Melrose Ave., is also her biggest: 3,200 square feet in the heart of WeHo’s shopping corridor.

“L.A. has always been such a huge part of our community, so opening here felt like the natural next step,” Guizio tells Fashionista via email. “Melrose has an iconic fashion history, and I loved the idea of becoming part of that story while creating a destination that feels distinctly Guizio.”

The store was inspired by a house in the French countryside where Guizio once stayed that had “this effortless warmth and charm,” she says. Working with her friend and interior designer Brandi Howe, she evoked that atmosphere through oversized floral furniture, a pale green carpet and light wood shelving. “We took that feeling and mixed it with the details of a dollhouse to create a space that feels inviting and immersive,” she adds.

According to the designer, the store stocks the brand’s full collection, including all sizes (XXS to XXL) across ready-to-wear, denim, outerwear, shoes, handbags and more. The Micro Mini Stretch Skirt ($78) continues to be a bestseller, along with the chiffon Ara Top ($128). Accessories are a recent addition to the offering: Guizio launched its first in-house footwear collection in May 2025, followed by handbags this past April. She told Fashionista at the time that she wants her brand to be a “one-stop shop” for her audience.

“The brand has really found its footing in the last five years,” Guizio shared in the same interview. “It became more of a lifestyle than a product. People don’t know the brand has been around for 10 years. We really took our time.”

The flagship also carries a custom L.A. tee and limited-edition totes for the opening. Keep scrolling for more images of the store and opening party.
