Apparently, boats just require a lot of upkeep. Their owners need to pay to dock them, and insure them, and maintain them, and store them in the winter. There are the fuel costs, and of course wherever you take your boat will have its own restrictions about what you can and can’t do. Those are just a few things to think about if all goes well. If your boat needs maintenance, which it probably will at least a few times, you’re now going to be out even more money.
