“The important thing is you enjoy your life!” Chemical Soup has revealed the official trailer for Quarter, a coming-of-age indie film arriving in limited US theaters in November. Quarter is made by Kelsey Bascom & Arnon Manor, starring Kelsey Bascom as the woman at the center of this story. Quarter is a coming-of-age comedy-drama about Kelly, a young woman living with Type 1 Diabetes who, in the days leading up to her 25th birthday, navigates the highs & lows of her blood sugar and her personal life. Yes it’s a quarter-life-crisis film, which is a bit cringe, but there’s more to this story. Bascom wrote it from her own experiences as a young woman living with Type 1 Diabetes, with the intent of creating an intimate & very personal film, that also raises awareness for T1D, often misunderstood and certainly misrepresented in films. Also starring Ali Wentworth, Breckin Meyer, Raven-Symoné, Tati Gabrielle, Brooke Shields, Eric Roberts, Nick Creegan, Matty Cardarople, and Dot-Marie Jones. Also executive produced by Brooke Shields, who’s an advocate for diabetes awareness. A film about learning to overcome obstacles that are in your life.

Quarter is a coming-of-age comedy-drama about Kelly (starring Kelsey Bascom), a young woman living with Type 1 diabetes who’s about to turn 25, as she deals with the ups and downs of her blood sugar levels and the ups and downs of her personal life. Quarter is co-directed by the two filmmakers Arnon Manor (also director of the short film Cops and Robbers) & Kelsey Bascom, both making their feature directorial debut. The screenplay is written by actress Kelsey Bascom (also writer of the series “Mondays”). Produced by Arnon Manor, Kelsey Bascom, Judi Bell, Ayelet Emma Regev Junger, Bri Lageyre, Krista Minto. The film was presented at the 2026 Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year. Chemical Soup Production is debuting Quarter opening in select US theaters on November 13th, 2026 this fall.
