Peacock has shared the official Poker Face Season 2 trailer for the highly-anticipated next installment to Rian Johnson‘s acclaimed murder mystery comedy. The series is scheduled to make its return on May 8, 2025 with the first three episodes. It will then be followed by new episodes streaming Thursdays.
“The series is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying,” reads the Season 2 logline. “This season, Charlie continues her journey on the road across the country, encountering a new cast of characters and investigating crimes along the way.”

Who is in the Poker Face Season 2 trailer?
The video teases what’s next for Natasha Lyonne’s character Charlie as she takes on new cases across the country. The trailer also offers fans with a glimpse of some of Season 2’s guest stars, including Cynthia Erivo, John Mulaney, Simon Rex, Giancarlo Esposito, John Cho, and Alia Shawkat.
Poker Face is created, written, and directed by Rian Johnson in his first-ever TV project, with Tony Tost serving as its showrunner. It is executive produced by Johnson, Lyonne, Tost, Ram Bergman, Nena Rodrigue, Adam Arkin, Nora Zuckerman, and Lilla Zuckerman. It is a production by T-Street and MRC Television. Since its debut in 2023, the series has received a near-perfect Tomatometer rating of 98% based on 114 reviews. For her performancer in Season 1, Lyonne received the an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
