During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Shane Gillis admitted he is off the Trump bandwagon, revealing that he intentionally declined an invitation to the VIP room at UFC 250 at the White House earlier this summer because he wanted to avoid being photographed with Donald Trump.
“I knew those photos would be taken,” Gillis explained. “I stood outside in the rain. I said, ‘I’m not getting my picture taken.’”
Gillis previously posed for a photos with Trump, but added, “That was pre-a lot of things. Back then, when I was taking that picture, I was like, ‘This guy’s gonna release the Epstein Files, and no more wars. I like that.’”
Even so, the comedian added, “I still didn’t vote for him.”
Joe Rogan: I was at the White House, so was Shane.
Shane Gillis: Let’s stop bringing that up. Back then, when I was taking that picture, I was like, this guy’s gonna release the Epstein Files, and no more wars. I like that. Also, I still didn’t vote for him. pic.twitter.com/aCcpQNtEYS
