Saucony Is the Fastest-Growing Sneaker Brand on StockX

From avid collectors to street style stars to everyday shoppers, there are a lot of sneaker obsessives out there. And while demand for the category is always high, it’s also always changing. So what’s trending sneaker-wise in 2026?

Few retailers would know better than StockX: The resale platform’s annual Big Facts report compares global sales from the first half of 2026 to the same period last year, spotlighting the fastest-growing brands in sneakers, apparel and accessories (along with what’s fueling growth in trading cards, collectibles and StockX Listings, its marketplace for used sneakers and vintage apparel).

For the past two years, Asics has come out on top as the platform’s fastest-growing sneaker brand, but it has officially been dethroned by Saucony, whose sales more than tripled year-over-year, up 239% for 2026. The brand’s buzzy ProGrid Omni 9 and ProGrid Triumph 4 sneakers pushed it over the edge. As for Asics, it’s still StockX’s fourth-largest sneaker brand, so the platform sees this as “more of a normalization than a collapse.”

Vans follows close behind Saucony at number two, with a 238% sales spike thanks to the ongoing low-profile sneaker trend. Plus, the skate brand’s sneakers are selling at significantly higher price points compared to 2025: The average resale price jumped from $102 to $180, while the average “price premium” — a measure of how much higher an item sells for on StockX than the original retail price — went from 12% to 69%, marking
the “biggest premium expansion of any sneaker brand,” according to the report.

Two Japanese brands whose products also align with the low-profile sneaker trend nabbed the third and fourth spots: Mihara Yasuhiro, which saw 191% growth, and Onitsuka Tiger with 162% growth. And if you feel like Salomons are literally everywhere, you aren’t wrong. Thanks to the brand’s XT-6 sneaker (and to a lesser extent, XT-4), Salomon’s growth more than doubled year-over-year, from +53% to +126%, and it landed at number five. Its average resale price also rose, from $166 to $193, as well as its average price premium.

When it comes to non-sneaker shoes (slides, mules, slippers and sandals), Bravest Studios jumped to number one after debuting at number five last year. Thanks to the maximalist shoe trend, the brand has seen a more than 1,120% increase in sales. Perhaps surprisingly for those of us who know more of their athletic footwear, Jordan Brand and Nike nabbed the number two and four spots, respectively: The former saw its non-sneaker styles jump 727% , the latter 138%. The report states the biggest driver for Nike was the Mind 001 slides, but the Air Rift and Mercurial Superfly cleats also helped. Burberry was number three, and Birkenstock number five.

In the apparel category, sales of the brand Godspeed surged a massive 1,603%, going from hundreds of trades on StockX to thousands in just one year, thanks to tees from the Voltage drop and courtside shorts. Adidas’ apparel sales also rose nearly 700% year-over-year thanks in part to jersey sales and our soccer-focused summer, plus those viral Chinese New Year track jackets.

Supreme is also set to make a comeback, according to the report. Sales are up 19% year-over-year, and average price premiums have gone up from 11% to 41%. Plus, six of the 10 best-selling apparel releases on StockX in H1 2026 were from Supreme, five of them box logo launches — what the brand was originally known for.

There’s some other fun data, too. If you’ve ever scrolled through StockX late at night, you’re not alone. The most expensive middle-of-the-night purchase was a used pair of Rick Owens cow-fur Geobaskets for $950. Read the entire report on stockx.com.
